For the “Inferno” series, the greatest challenge lay in the ultra-thin, double-layer dial design. We needed to arrange skeletal motifs radiating from the center and geometric base patterns within just 2–3 mm of metal, creating layered depth through perspective corrections and the golden ratio. Achieving 0.3 mm detail levels demanded mastery of micro-casting—this piece has already garnered acclaim from collectors worldwide and will surely become a signature work for the brand.
Hand-Finishing & Color Accents
Brush-Art Detail: Master painter Zhao Jia-mi applied multiple fluorescent layers (where specified), carefully balancing pigment opacity and glow under UV light. Each colorway is unique and signed on the caseback, with blockchain-backed certificates ensuring authenticity and collectibility.
Alternate Finishes: Atelier Green Leaf offers additional variants with different night-glow and fluorescence effects. All three lighting conditions (daylight, fluorescence, low-light glow) were rigorously tested to maintain aesthetic harmony across environments.

Concept
Seven centuries after Dante wrote the Divine Comedy, artists across mediums continue to respond with boundless passion—even rivaling that inspired by the Bible (Jean-Pierre Barricelli, Dante Studies, 1996). In his epic, Dante traverses a dark forest, guided through Hell and Purgatory by Virgil, until Beatrice—his youthful love who died at twenty-four—appears to lead him into Paradise and grant him salvation.
At Bard’s Whisper, we meticulously researched medieval history, culture, and literature in 2022 before designing this series. Over twenty Taiwanese scholars, artists, and craftsmen—illustrators, sculptors, engineers, watchmakers, 3D modelers, animators, and blockchain experts—contributed to the project. From the 3D modeling to micro-casting and hand-painting, every line and curve on the dial reflects months of collaboration and refinement.
Our prototype designer and 3 mm dial layering pioneer, Jia Long-xi, developed a four-tier micro-section technique that makes the wafer-thin metal look astonishingly substantial. This fusion of high art and precision micro-crafting has yielded one of Taiwan’s most technically and artistically ambitious timepieces.
Notes on Hand-Finishing & Micro-Casting
Color Variation: Final hue may vary slightly from photos due to lighting, camera settings, and screen calibration. Each paint mix is confirmed by the artisan, assembler, and brand director to ensure consistency.
Micro-Casting Variance: Micro-casting yields minute differences in each relief piece—no two leaves or sculptural elements are perfectly identical. This natural variation is part of the handcrafted spirit.
