“Ancient cities change their hues; old friends return, hearts brimming with poetry.
Tears of the Janome umbrella fall like ethereal rain; new wine in old bottles, plum blossoms under the canopy.
Through centuries, festivals come and go; song and dance follow the shifting tides.
Only the unmoving moon and the timeless pine stand witness.”
1. Micro-Casting & Finishing
Designed by veteran Taiwanese artist Jia Longxi, then refined by Bard’s Whisper’s years of micro-casting research.
Pine-Needle Relief: Silver is oxidized, then hand-polished for hours under magnification to delicately reveal pine-needle lines.
Moon-Dial: Layered painting builds depth and texture, using abstract-oil techniques to evoke a lifelike lunar landscape.
Brass Movement Holder: Forgoing plastic, each holder is cast in brass, hand-trimmed, and test-fitted (“pre-assembly” method) to ensure perfect seating before final movement and hand assembly.
2. Production Steps
Sapphire crystal installation
Hand-polished Taiwanese case, brushed in selected areas
Custom Swiss patented luminous hands
Pure silver micro-cast sculpture & moon-dial painting; anti-tarnish silver coating
Stainless-steel bracelet polished by expert hands
Final assembly, micro-adjustment, QC, plus three-stage water tests
Each watch takes over 20 days and at least 150 hours of artisan work from start to finish, combining sculptural artistry and watchmaking excellence.
Cases are polished by hand to a mirror finish, with brushed accents for contrast. Though dazzling at first, micro-scratches naturally develop over time—an authentic trait of vintage-inspired watches. When worn long enough, straps and cases develop a personal patina; you may return your watch for re-polishing and part replacement, ensuring your unique story remains vivid.
