Every Bard’s Whisper “Divine Comedy” timepiece is entirely hand‐crafted by specialist artists. Orders ship in the sequence that each piece is completed.

“The greatest challenge in ‘Purgatorio’ was carving 4–5 distinct relief layers—radiating skull motifs and geometric pedestals—within only 2–3 mm of dial thickness, all while preserving deep perspective and the Golden Ratio. Achieving 0.3 mm detail required supreme mastery of micro‐casting.”

Concept & Inspiration

Dante’s Divine Comedy, penned 700 years ago, has inspired generations of artists across media—its fervor even rivaling that of the Bible (Jean-Pierre Barricelli, Dante Studies, 1996). In the poem, Dante traverses Hell and Purgatory under Virgil’s guidance, then finds redemption through Beatrice’s grace in Paradise.

In 2022, Bard’s Whisper revisited medieval history, culture, and manuscripts before designing this series. Over 20 Taiwanese experts—scholars, sculptors, watchmakers, engineers, modelers, animators, blockchain specialists, and more—collaborated for seven months. From 3D modeling to micro‐casting and hand‐painting, each intricate line and contour reflects our collective dedication and local craftsmanship.

Our proprietary four‐layer micro‐section technique, developed by Jia Long-xi, makes a mere 3 mm dial appear monumentally deep, blending centuries-old artistry with modern precision.

Authenticity & Limited Release

This “ver. Opal Crystal” edition is strictly limited. Each piece is individually numbered, signed on the caseback, and accompanied by a blockchain‐issued certificate of authenticity—ensuring lifelong collectible value.
